Spain’s Supreme Court has upheld the dismissal of a highway patrolman who confessed to stealing a dead man’s credit card and using it to buy gasoline, go shopping and eat at restaurants.

Some UK credit card customers who have been trying to avoid their debts have been warned by the High Court in Manchester that card companies will be able to enforce debts by providing a reconstituted copy of an original loan agreement.
